The Oakdale Stampede Youth Football program offers the sport at multiple levels, with the youngsters learning the fundamentals of the game. Many that have come through the program go on to play at the high school level in The Corral. On a recent afternoon, the Stampede players created a sea of red as they awaited their turn on the field. Elsewhere, coach Matt Budine was working with a group of youngsters, helping get them in position on the field according to the play call.
