Swimming teams power past Lancers

The high school swim season has splashed down and on Friday, March 1 the Mustangs hosted East Union. Varsity girls won 95-51, varsity boys won 121-26 and junior varsity girls took an 80-17 victory.

This Saturday, March 9 Oakdale High School will welcome several schools from the area for the annual March Madness meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

 

Here is a summary of the March 1 meet.

VARSITY BOYS:

Wylie Ballantyne - 100 Freestyle (55.74; first place); 100 Backstroke (1:09.37; first place)

Logan Castano - 50 Freestyle (24.13; first place)

Brayden Costa - 100 Butterfly (1:05.09; first place); 100 Breaststroke (1:11.80; first place)

Cooper Fox - 500 Freestyle (5:55.89; first place)

Cullen Liekhus - 200 Freestyle (2:12.24; first place)
