POLO POOL FUN
Alumni WP

Water polo teams at Oakdale High School hosted an alumni game fundraiser one Saturday in December for both the boys and girls teams. Shown here are players who suited up for the alumni boys. “We had a lot of fun bringing OHS graduates back to their home pool, and the current athletes had a great time challenging them,” said varsity boys head coach Savannah Martin. The girls alumni defeated the current varsity girls by a 12-9 final while the high school’s varsity boys topped the alumni boys team, 11-8. Hosted as a fundraiser, Martin said they charged admission, a player fee, sold food and also hosted a raffle. The fundraiser was successful in raising money for away tournament costs next season.
