Preseason action is underway for teams on the court, on the pitch and on the wrestling mats as winter sports squads are getting busy. The Oakdale Lady Mustangs varsity girl basketball team recently took on the visiting Enochs Lady Eagles. Shown in action here are junior Brooke Wheatly, top photo, sending off the shot and, bottom photo, freshman Avery Gleason dribbling toward the hoop. The Nov. 23 game saw the Oakdale varsity take a hard fought 36-29 loss. The JV girls defeated Enochs 28-20 and the freshmen started the trio of games with a 26-21 win.
