Dear Editor,

Once again, the light shines through. I recently made an incorrect order for Christmas from Medlen’s House of Beef. Not realizing my error until I went to pick it up.

The kindness and personal consideration I received from the entire crew touched my heart. In this crazy world, let us not forget the blessings we have by living in a town where people still have the personal touch. Where businesses still believe in customer service and reach out to help their community.

That is why we choose to live in this small town of Oakdale. Businesses like Medlen’s House of Beef and people like Steve and Cindi and their employees like Jo make a difference in this world and we are blessed to have them.
