Dear Editor,

I have been reflecting on the years long ago when we chose to come to Oakdale to raise our family and become a part of this wonderful city. No one was able to predict the economic disaster that happened. When Measure O was introduced we felt confident that the economy was going to come back at a fast pace. Unfortunately none of us were prepared for the slow pace of the bounce back of the economy.

Now we are faced with the decision to extend Measure O by voting for Measure Y. I urge all of you to reflect on the City we once all enjoyed and help to forestall the disaster that is on the horizon if we fail to do this. Join me and my family to avert this crisis. Thank you.
