William Charles Bonfantini, 72, of Chowchilla died Tuesday, April 3 in Chowchilla.

He was born to parents Alexandro and Margaret Bonfantini in Lodi on Sept. 20, 1939.

He lived in Oakdale for 30 years.

Mr. Bonfantini was a cattle rancher all his life.

He is survived by his sons, Bart Bonfantini of Salinas, Bret Bonfantini of Hollister, Benn Bonfantini of Las Cruces, N.M,; and sister, Karen Neal of Oakdale.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30 at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church, 350 W. Yosemite Ave., Merced with Reverend Ron Parry officiating. A meal reception will follow at the Merced Elks Lodge, 1910 M St., Merced.
