In Adona, AK on July 28, 1925 Shirley Lavon “Happy” McCall was born to Hallie Edith and James Franklin McCall. Happy is the 7th child of 10 children. One sibling remaining is her beloved sister Anne Blagg of Oakdale, CA. The McCall family settled in Hughson, CA where Happy met her future husband, Red Casey.They married March 21, 1945 and raised two children; Marsha Casey Neal, and Karen Casey Ellerd.
