Rick Moore of Oakdale lived all of his life in California until his passing on July 26th, 2020. Born on February 16th 1953, he had a great 67 years of life surrounded with lots of love.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Rick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carla Moore; his daughter Misty Garcia and her husband Gabriel Garcia; granddaughters Karissa and Jessi Garcia; sister Loraine Baskins of Fort Bragg; brother Hackey Moore of Riverbank, and brother-in-law Wes Bilyeu.
Additionally, he was a beloved brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend survived by many nieces and nephews. As a true outdoorsman, Rick loved to enjoy what nature had to offer, especially with his family and his dog, Tigger. He spent many hours fishing at the river or taking in the beautiful scenery around Stanislaus County, where he resided since he was a young boy. As an avid Raiders football fan, he could always be found cheering on his favorite team. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
While we would love to celebrate Rick now with his extended friends and family, a celebration of life to honor him will be scheduled for a later date due to the ongoing pandemic.
