Michael Wayne Harrell, 48, died Sunday, March 7.

He was a native of Los Angeles. He lived in Oakdale 44 years.

Mr. Harrell worked at Hershey’s for 17 years.

He is survived by his companion, Rosemary Raney of Oakdale; daughter, Tiffany Chandler; stepchildren, Jeffery Flora, Jason Flora, Toni Wright, Anthony McGee, Jeffery Musi and Taylor Musi, all of Modesto, Denise Jones of Mariposa, Donny Silva, Ronny Silva, both of Oakdale, Nathaniel Raney of Fairfield; brother, Douglas Harrell of Oakdale; stepbrothers, Stacy Van Winkle, Ray Van Winkle, both of Modesto; father, Marvin Harrell; stepmother, Faye Caetano, both of Oakdale; grandmother, Karen Hollaway of Modesto; four grandchildren; and numerous other family members.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

No visitation.
