Marina passed away at home surrounded by family and her beloved dogs Gepo and BB on September 23, 2024.

Marina was born in Locarno, Switzerland on April 12, 1961 to parents Marino and Antonietta Scolari.

Marina lived life to the fullest by using every minute to love, make or learn something. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, art, animals and most of all gardening with her husband Steven.

Marina is survived by her husband Steven; sisters Manuela Scolari (Mattias), Susy Scolari, Lucia (Nano) Napoleoni; brother Fausto Scolari; sister-in-law Carina (Doug) Fryer and mother-in-law Birgitta Knudsen, and 11 nephews and nieces.

Marina was preceded in death by brother Giuseppe, mother Antonietta, father Marino Scolari and father-in-law Arne Knudsen.

A memorial will be held at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club on October 18 from noon to 3 p.m.
