Manuel V. Mora, 84, passed away in his home on August 28, 2019. He was born on April 11, 1935 to Joseph and Virginia Mora in Brush, Colorado. As a child the family moved to California. Manuel was an Army veteran. He then met his wife Sandra and had three children. After living in Riverbank for a few years they settled in Oakdale. Manuel and Sandra separated but remained very close. Manuel was a supervisor at Hunt Wesson cannery before retiring in the mid 90’s. Manuel will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, caring and giving nature, wisdom, hard worker, overall incredible man.
He is survived by his brothers Joe, Jessie, Benny and sister Marcie. His children Ruben Sr., Rosie, Manuel Jr. and Josie. Thirteen grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and his dog Roxie. He is now reunited with his parents, wife Sandra, brothers Raymond, Louie and grandson Ruben Jr. A viewing service will be held Thursday, September 5 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 6 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m.
