Larry Niel Leach of Oakdale passed away Friday, June 22 at the age of 80. He was born on May 3, 1938 in Modesto, California to Merlin (Chub) and Lockie Leach, eventually graduating from Downey High School in 1956. He then married the love of his life Gail, whom he was married to for fifty years before her passing. Larry owned several service stations in Modesto, which culminated into Oakdale Auto Tech Services in 1982 until his recent retirement.
Larry is survived by his two sons, Scott and Kevin (Concha), four grandchildren Amy, Gary, Taylor, and Corey, and two great grandchildren Justin and Jesse. He is preceded in death by his brother Keith Leach, his sister Norma Stetler, and his wife Gail. A celebration of his life will be held, plans pending.
