Kenneth Paul Christopher Bedore unexpectedly passed away at his home on Monday March 27, 2023. Ken was the eldest of five children born to Alexander and Dorothy Bedore on September 17, 1943 in Calumet Michigan. In October 1960 Ken joined the U.S Navy where he enjoyed his service on the USS Towers DDG-9. Shortly after leaving his active duty in the Navy Ken landed in Oakdale CA where he met and married his wife Faith Rose (Cookie) Willey on July 17, 1966. Ken enjoyed a 43-year long career with the City of Oakdale. Ken loved fishing, origami and most of all his family. It always brought him great joy to see the smile and the look of amazement upon the faces of his loved ones and strangers as he would give the gift of a dollar bill folded in an intricate design.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife. Ken leaves behind his children Katherine (Stephen) Ward, and Christine (Phil) Harvey; grandchildren James Masterson, Darren (Adriana) Stevens, Kyle Stevens, Myrissa Mckinney, Philip Harvey; great-grandchildren Christopher Krew Masterson, Ariah Stevens and Jessenia Stevens and brothers Robert Bedore, Mike Bedore, Raymond Bedore and Gary Bedore.

A celebration of life will be held on May 6, 2023 at 12pm at The Cow Track in Oakdale, CA.
