John passed away suddenly, but peaceful at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
John was born in Louisiana but raised in Riverbank, CA. He moved to Oakdale in 1999.
John is survived by his mother, Sally Everett; wife, Phyllis Everett; children, Johnathan (Shellie) Everett of Modesto; daughter, Donnelle (Joshua) Herzberg of Oakdale; four grandchildren, Michael (Lexi), Jeremy (Rebecca), Erika, and Bruce; great-grandchild, Kaitlyn; three brothers, George (Irene), Donald (Beverly), James; three sisters, Virginia (Ben), Anna (Larry), Marilyn (Don); as well as, many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
John is preceded in death by his father, Albert Bruce Everett.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 11 a.m. at Oakdale Family Church of the Nazarene.
A potluck will follow at the fellowship hall.
John has gone fishing with his dad.
