Jessica Christine Brown of Oakdale, aged 46, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2024. Born on January 13, 1978, to Donald Brown and Carol Robinson, Jessica leaves behind her daughters Miranda and Katelyn, her parents Don Brown and Carol Robinson, her sister Sharon, and her brother Tommy, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to serve others, Jessica pursued a career in nursing, obtaining an associate’s degree from Modesto Junior College in 2017. She completed her residency at Doctor’s Medical Center in April 2018 and devoted her talents to the Memorial Medical Center’s emergency department, where she distinguished herself as an exceptional and compassionate ER nurse, earning infamy as one of the elite “Golden Girls.”

Jessica’s legacy shines bright through her beloved daughters, Miranda and Katelyn. Miranda, a brilliant wordsmith and talented artist, embodies her mother’s compassion, wisdom, and love for a good book. Katelyn, an expert equestrian and physical facsimile of her mother, exemplifies Jessica’s affection for adventure and the outdoors, as well as the vivacious personality that defined her.

A public celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 4 at 4 p.m. at Richard’s Ranch in Modesto. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to consider donating to one of the fundraisers available in support of her daughters.
