HELEN MARGUERITE (JINCKS) WILLADSEN obit

Helen Marguerite (Jincks) Willadsen, best known to friends and family as Peggy, was born in Venice, California on March 3, 1936 to Melvin W Jincks, and Elizabeth S (Kingston) Jincks.

Peggy went home to be with The Lord, in her home with her sons present, a little after 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025. She had recently been heard to say that she was excited to be going!

Best known for her love of everyone, and her desire for them to accept Jesus Christ as their savior; Peggy was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Oakdale, California where she had lived since 1979.

Peggy was known and loved by many young people, who as children attended Fair Oaks Elementary School in Oakdale, where she worked for several years as a Yard Duty. She often referred to this time in her life as her favorite job second only to being a mother.

Peggy is predeceased by her parents Melvin and Elizabeth, her stepfather Henry Light, her siblings Eddie Jincks, Sally Richards, Dorothy Zimmerman, and James Light. She also follows her first husband Fredrick W Willadsen, sons Jeffery, Fredrick C (Ricky), and Richard, as well as her second husband Donnie Mendoza.

Peggy is survived by her sister Betty Lynn Stowell of Arizona, her sons Christian of Florida, David from Modesto and Sean from Oakdale, and stepdaughter Jamie Mendoza. Her grandchildren of which she has 12, and great-grandchildren numbering 19 were the jewels in Gigi’s crown! She was eagerly anticipating the birth of her first great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be performed on 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, 421 N. Sierra Ave. in Oakdale, by Pastor Baumgarte, followed by a celebration of life at Heritage Oaks in the Great Room, 730 Old Stockton Road in Oakdale. All are welcome.
