Faith Carolyn Johnson died peacefully in her home on October 2, 2016 in Oakdale, California at the age of 89.
She is survived by her children Steve Johnson, Pat Wagoner, Pam Johnson, Lori Engle, and Judy Johnson; her grandchildren Jimmy Wagoner, Chris Wagoner, Travis Wagoner, Candy Johnson, Steven Johnson, Jeremiah Engle, Jessica Stalnaker, and Jeffrey Engle, in addition to nearly 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Johnson, daughter Paulette Potter, and granddaughters Heather Wagoner and Heidi Dejong.
Faith was born October 16, 1926 in Butte, Montana to Thomas and Georgia Butler. She married Willard Johnson on June 12, 1946. Willard moved Faith and their six children to Oakdale, California in 1963 from Butte, Montana. She remained in Oakdale until her passing.
A memorial service to be held in her honor is scheduled for October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. The service and reception will be held at Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church, 2813 N. Berkeley Avenue, Turlock, CA 95382. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 331 N. Fifth Avenue, Oakdale, CA 95361.
