Elaine Kramer-Adams, age 76, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at her home in Oakdale, California. She succumbed to a nearly two decades battle with cancer. Elaine was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 4, 1945 to Eli and Minnie Kramer. Elaine was the youngest of three children with two older brothers. She married her husband Carol Lee Adams in Lake Tahoe, California, October 17, 1993.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband Lee Adams, her older brother Dr. Bernard (Bernie) Kramer, younger brother Joseph (Jerry) Kramer, five nieces, four nephews, 13 grand nieces, 13 grand nephews, one great grand niece, six great grand nephews, all of whom she kept a close and loving relationship, despite many miles of separation. She is additionally survived by numerous cousins, her brother-in-law Pat Lane, his daughter Melissa and her children.

Elaine was a graduate of the prestigious culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, France. In addition to her legal profession from which she retired, she loved gardening and the company of a wide group of friends with whom she participated in volunteering. Visiting Elaine meant exposure to the loving devoted relationship of her and Lee, an introduction to her pet birds and cats and a memorable home cooked fine dining meal.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 17, 2022 starting at 10 a.m. at Temple Beth Shalom, 1705 Sherwood Ave., Modesto, CA 95350. After cremation, her remains will be laid to rest at Eternal Light Memorial Garden, Boynton Beach, Florida, near her parent’s burial location at which time there will be an additional memorial service. Date and time to be announced.
