Dominique Sarlin Maurer, age 44, of Oakdale, California passed away with family at her side.

Dominique fought a tough battle with cancer and did so with dignity and courage. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who loved her. She is survived by her mother Teresa M. Harman (Charles Chituras), father William Maurer (Donna), brother Daniel Maurer (Jennifer Roland), sister Heather Maurer Huerta (Noel), nephew Ryland Maurer, niece Madeleine Huerta and her much loved fur babies Gemma and Piper, along with her many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Dominique was employed at Yosemite Farm Credit as a Project Manager and also worked part-time as a Wine Room Lead at Lumber Yard Cellars where she was able to share her passion for wine.

Dominique was a County All-Star in 4-H and loved showing at the fair. She was a graduate from Modesto High School, where she was active in International Baccalaureate, Gymnastics, Color Guard and Future Farmers of America. She went on to study at both Modesto Junior College and graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Degree in Animal Science while remaining active in Young Farmers of America.

Those who knew and loved Dominique will remember her for the true wanderlust she had in her soul. She traveled the world extensively and was always thrilled by a new adventure.

In memory of Dominique donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children at ShrinersChildren.org or by calling (844) 739-0849.
