David Oliver Ferreira passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, California on January 17, 2019 at the age of 75. David was born in San Mateo, Ca. where he resided for most of his life. He was known as a hard worker and perfectionist in his trade as a body and fender man at Miracle Auto Painting. David loved tinkering with anything mechanical. He enjoyed remodeling his home and helping others. He relocated to Oakdale after visiting his sister and falling in love with Oakdale and its friendly residents. Family and friends will always remember David for his fun-loving, kind heart and charming nature. David is survived by his son Robert David Ferreira of Redwood City, CA., granddaughters Ashley Nicole Ferreira and Amanda Marie Ferreira of Redwood City, CA., brothers Lester Ferreira of Novato, CA., Richard LaGesse of Modesto, CA., sisters Ivymay Beaver of Pioneer, CA., Janet Gearhart of Oakdale, CA., Frances Unterbrink of Lewiston, CA., and Ginell Corriero of Stockton, CA.
