David L. Hutchison was born on July 10, 1938 in Stockton, California to Muriel and Lester Hutchison. While in the United States Navy, he was stationed in Washington where he met the love of his life, Patricia Hutchison. They were married for 64 years and the longest they had ever been apart was the last few months since Patricia passed away in November. They spent most of their years together in Oakdale, California. He loved his four wonderful daughters Debbie Butler (Chris), Dalona Kline (Tim), Diana Hutchison, and Dalene Davis (Jason). He enjoyed being grandpa to nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He owned and operated Oakdale Diesel Service for over 50 years with his wife until they retired. He was a kind and giving man who helped many people over the years. He was always willing to teach someone anything they didn’t know how to do. He passed away unexpectedly at home on April 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Patricia, his parents and his brothers Robert and Loyal. All are welcome at the funeral to be held on May 16, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Farmington Memorial Park located at 5225 South Escalon-Bellota Road, Farmington, California.
