It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear PaPa Jim, (92) November 4, 2024 in Grangeville, Idaho. He will be missed by all who knew him as PaPa, Friend, or Coach.

Jim lived a very full and fulfilling life with the love and respect of all his family and friends. He was the second of four generations to graduate from Oakdale High School, where he later taught math, coached and mentored many students. He led many championship baseball, football, golf and trap shooting teams to victory over the years. He excelled in many sports himself, especially Pro baseball, golf, and trap shooting. Hunting and fishing were also on the top of his list, inviting family and friends to join him on many adventures.

Jim is preceded in death by Marva (wife of 68 years), and son Mick McMahon. He is survived by his son Bill (Kate) McMahon, grandsons Tyson (Abby) McMahon, D.J.(Summer) McMahon, John McMahon, and three great grandsons, Logan, Xander and Xae McMahon.
