Cathy Ann Neal-Blickenstaff, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to heaven early in the morning on July 13, 2024 in Oakdale, CA, surrounded by family. She was born in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma on May 7, 1950 to Sim and Mabel Chandler. Cathy grew up moving all over the United States with her family, and considered her sisters to be her best friends. She settled down in Central California with her former husband, Orval Neal II, to raise her three children.

Summers were spent out at the lake, camping with her family and friends. Later on, she became a full-time grandma, helping raise her seven grandchildren in her home in Oakdale, CA with husband David. Throughout her life, she was a caretaker and a nurturer, welcoming anyone who walked through her door. Cathy will be remembered for her kind heart, listening ear, and matchless love for her family. She is deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Cathy was preceded in death by her sister Barbara, her brother Thurman, and her former husband, Orval Neal II. She is survived by her husband, David; sister, Monice; children and in-laws Mark, Orval, Shannon, Frank, and Apryl; her grandchildren Amanda (Hugo), Leticia, Zack (Ashlee), Frankie (Haley), Shayann (Isaiah), Autumn (Alec), and Chandler; her greatgrandchildren Leila, Baylie, Sebastian, Liam, Karsten, Trent, Margie, and a baby girl on the way; and her extended family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held for Cathy on August 3 at their family home. Please reach out to her family for more information.
