Carroll Oleva (Mooney) Mendonsa was born in Fresno, CA on July 22, 1939 to Noah and Oleva Mooney. She passed peacefully on March 9, 2025 in Oakdale, CA. She was 85 years old. She joined the love of her life, Joe Mendonsa, in their eternal home. They celebrated 42 years of marriage prior to his passing.

Carroll was proceeded in death by her parents and some of her siblings, Leon Mooney, Elsie Wilson, FM Mooney, Dean Mooney, Oneita Warden, Flora Woodward and Claudette Smith. Also, her grandson Zachary Mendonsa.

She is survived by her brother, Dewitt Mooney. Also, by her children, Tammy Tate (Larry), Tracy Mendonsa (Juanita), Terry Mendonsa and Tawnya Mendonsa (Jason Connolly). Carroll was blessed with seven grandchildren. Lacey Davis (Timothy), Adison Tate (Amanda), Amanda Rochin (Jorge), Jacob Mendonsa (Breanna), Sammy Mendonsa (Jessica Brewer) and Hannah Mendonsa. Carroll also had 10 great-grandchildren. There are many nieces and nephews too.

Carroll’s Celebration of Life will be held at Sierra Foothills Community Church, at 1040 West F St., Oakdale, CA, on Saturday, March 22 at 11 a.m.
