Brian was born, raised and spent his entire life, in the town he loved, Oakdale. Brian was in service to his community providing auto parts to local individuals, farmers and businesses, in Oakdale and Escalon, for 45+ years. He began as a teenager, working for his father who was a partner in Oakdale Auto Parts. He then became a partner/owner of Oakdale Auto Parts. After he sold the business he continued to work at the Oakdale and Escalon stores.

Brian enjoyed many sports, especially golf and football. He played little league baseball, high school basketball and was on the high school golf team. His biggest pleasure was in spending time with his family and friends. Brian is survived by his sister Lori Cupit (Gary), sister Koni Aranda (Albert), sister Edie Hatch (Daren and family), brother Frank Muniain (Tina and family). His nieces and nephew, Mandi Dias (Mike), Steven Vierra, Amy Medina, Heather Kregness (Dylan), Sandy Cupit, Hillary Stone (Chris), great nieces and nephews, Mason, Noah, Sofie, Lucas, Alexander, Porter, Greyson, Emma and Kira. He is also survived by aunts Sherri Wilkinson, Janice Bender, Patty Muniain, Eunice Gire (Sid). Cousins Jennifer Krieter (Fred), Marnie Keith (Brett), Krysti Dryer (Brian), Dan Gire (Michelle), Steve Gire (Sarah).

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Georgene Muniain, sister Toni Muniain, grandparents George and Lucile Pagani, Albert and Felicia Muniain and uncles Donnie Rossini, David Muniain, Bill Wilkinson, Dick Muniain. Our family wants to extend a special thank you to Mike Brennan. We are grateful for all his help during this difficult time.

One of Brian’s biggest blessings in his life were his close and caring friends. Along with his family, they will miss him daily. Always in our hearts, forever remembered.

A graveside service for Brian will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Oakdale, Saturday December 21, 10 a.m.
