Hi everyone. This week I would like to share important information about our Valley Home “National Night Out” celebration. National Night Out is an event held across the entire country. It encourages neighbors, friends and family to come out of their homes for the evening and get to know their neighbors. The event encourages them to enjoy the evening together. National Night Out happens every first Tuesday in August each year. This year National Night Out will be on Tuesday, August 6th. Our Valley Home Celebration will start at 6:30 pm and will be held at our Valley Home Community Park. Please come out and enjoy this special time together.

As we do each year, we are excited to welcome our Stanislaus County Supervisor Buck Condit, CHP, Fire Department, Stanislaus County Sheriff Department, Stanislaus County Public Works, and many others. Please come and bring your favorite dish to share. Plates, napkins, plastic eating utensils, condiments, and cold drinks will be provided. There will a delicious array of foods to share. There will be a car show, and fun games for the kids. There will be lots of time for pictures and conversations with our Law Enforcement, our Fire, Supervisor Buck, and all Public Officials. Our Stanislaus Public Works will be bringing some very exciting road work equipment … more information to come. We are hoping once again to have a flyover our Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Air 101. What a special treat it is when they appear in the sky above our celebration. Please bring your lawn chairs or bring blankets to spread on the ground. You can also come and sit at the picnic tables in the park and enjoy the evening together.
