It’s definitely summertime in Valley Home. Driving on the country roads in and around Valley Home you will see flags of all sizes waving in the summer breeze. A sense of patriotism is definitely alive all throughout our Valley Home community. With the Fourth of July just around the corner we honor what those beautiful high-flying flags stand for. The pride and the sacrifice that each flag represents fills our heart with respect and a tremendous sense of honor. The red white and blue are colors that we hold dear to our hearts. Our Stanislaus County is blessed with a Sheriff’s Department that honors these patriotic colors every day. Their vehicles proudly display the colors, red, white and blue. Another most beautiful sight is a bright red fire truck with an American flag proudly blowing in the breeze. When I see a fire truck with an American flag, my heart feels an immediate sense of pride. What a beautiful place to live.

On June 29, 2024 Valley Home is once again invited to join our friends and neighbors in Oakdale for the “All American Bash.” This is sure to be Americana at its finest. It will be a special afternoon and evening in our area. A most delightful patriotic small-town parade will kick off festivities. The parade will be followed by music, games for kids, some food truck options and conclude with a drone light show. Please mark your calendars for this patriotic event. ‘Old Glory’ will be waving from front porches all across our area. A huge “Thank You” to Oakdale Enrichment Society for planning this event!
