The strength of our great nation … our veterans are the backbone of our freedom. We celebrate each of our veterans; we honor the service each has given to our great country.
We can look back on the lives of so many young men and young women. They left the security of a loving home; many left home at a very tender age to serve and protect our great nation. It is always amazing to see the changes that take place in the discipline, and the strength of a young person when they sign on to serve in our great military. For many it is a time of fierce pride and amazing dedication to their country. It can also be a time of missing family and friends from back home. Whether it be your memories of a World War or the memories of a more recent war, each of us hold dear in our hearts those who have served our country. They are the backbone of our great nation. We each have a special place in our hearts, for those who have served or are serving on foreign soil or our American soil. We are so very grateful. For some it will be a very personal memory; a memory of time served, a memory many do not share often. We are forever grateful for your service. For others, their memories are still being made … they are serving our great country, each and every day they are serving this country they love so much. For all who serve, your service to this great nation is truly the strength and the backbone of our freedom. We honor and cherish the service of each and every one who serves our country … The United States of America. God Bless America rings true in so many families across this country; we hold dear to our hearts those who serve, their place in our hearts is forever true.
For those of you who have suffered the ultimate loss; the loss of a loved one, family or friend, we will forever deeply appreciate their ultimate sacrifice. That sacrifice will never be forgotten. We will remember. Our freedom is not free. Many have given their lives so that we and our generations to come will live free. We honor the lives of those who have given their life for each of us.
We forever will remember these words: All Gave Some, Some Gave All.
From the Lady in the Harbor to the wheat fields, to the schools, churches and the work places … we love our great country; our Veterans gave us this great land of milk and honey … this great land where freedom rings for all. God Bless America.
