This week we share very sad news. Our precious friend, Marina Knudsen, passed away after a very hard-fought battle. Heaven has gained a sweet beautiful Angel. Marina was an amazing woman, always full of happy energy and so much enthusiasm. Each time I received a phone call from her, she was always so excited. The times when she would text me, she always ended the text with a beautiful little flower she knew l would love. Marina and her beloved husband Steve had a most beautiful country home. Steve always made sure Marina was happy, and that she was surrounded by the things she loved. Marina loved her home … her home is a tribute to the amazing love she shared with her husband Steve. Her precious dogs, oh how she loved all living things. Her animals were very special to her, her goats, chickens each were special. Outside in her beautiful country yard, a yard that she and her beloved Steve worked so hard to create, one could feel the peacefulness. Flowers of every kind welcomed you … made you want to relax and just enjoy being there. Her flowers, vines and shrubbery were so vibrant; each bloomed in such cheerful and happy colors. I will always remember the beautiful tall stand of California Redwood trees, they grew right next to several different varieties of handpicked bamboo. The entire yard, so shady and peaceful, made you feel as if you could stay forever right there with her. She was truly such a lovely, caring and kind person. There were wispy green ferns nestled in and around her most special place … a place so special that if you were blessed to be invited inside, you must leave your shoes behind. Marina loved to practice yoga; it brought peace to her heart and tranquility to her soul. Steve knew how much his beautiful Marina loved yoga and he gave her the most amazing yoga studio; it reminded one of the ancient yoga studios. It was stunning … so full of peace. Her yoga studio stood near beautiful ageless trees … their swooping branches dropped peacefully into the crystal-clear pool below them. Marina was such a beautiful woman; she found such beauty in every living thing. I will forever cherish our friendship. Rest in Heavenly Peace, my dear friend.
