This week, we have some sad news to pass along to readers. The following is information that was shared by the Jones family on Monday, January 6th.

“Wyatt Clayton Jones took his last breath today, January 6, 2025. He was surrounded by his mom, his tissie, Gma, Papa, dad and his Uncle Josh. Amanda held Wyatt and his mob plush until the end and it was beautiful. He came into this world surrounded by those who loved him and left this world surrounded by those who love hm.

Wyatt was a lot of things, an amazing son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin. He was an incredible artist, a wonderful friend, and genuinely one of the best humans out there. He touched a lot of lives in his time on earth and he fulfilled whatever purpose God had set forth for him. We had 18 perfect years with him.

Wyatt fought a hell of a fight. He was a warrior until the end. Leukemia is a beast and complications from his treatment proved to be too much for him this time.

This was not what we hoped for but at the same time it is what we prayed for. We prayed for him to be ok. OK doesn’t always look like we hoped it would. We appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts we received along this road, Wyatt felt each and every one of them. Our family did too. We don’t know what a world without him looks like but we will make our way through. We take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain, and that we will see him again someday.”
