The Knights Ferry Art Studio offers a variety of art classes for people of all ages and skill levels. Last weekend, local artist Jason Turner instructed a small class to paint their own landscape painting. The finished projects were unique to each artist and absolutely amazing! Mark your calendars and sign up to do Halloween Mosaics on September 16th and 17th at the Knights Ferry Art Studio. The class is a two-day class working on a Day of the Dead inspired workshop where the class will use tile, glass, plates, and dishes to complete the mosaic project. For more information about the class email knightsferryartstudio@gmail.com or drop by the art studio during business hours.

The Miller’s Hall which oversees the Knights Ferry Museum is looking for members to join their efforts to preserve the history of Knights Ferry. The ladies have been hard at work organizing a closet full of articles and documents sorting the articles by group including the Community Club in preparation for the Community Club’s centennial celebration on September 30. I feel we have quite a few families who have lived in the area for multiple generations and could contribute to the museum while they learn a little more about their family history! Contact Heather at the Creamery for more information about how to get involved.
