It’s ‘Coffee with a Soldier’ at the Oakdale Starbucks at 325 E. F St., running through 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Not only are the U.S. Army personnel working the drive thru and handing out free cookies, the Mid-Cal Blue Star Moms organization is collecting items to make up holiday gift boxes to ship to military personnel for the Christmas season.

Project Heroes is also represented and Starbucks is hoping to partner with the soldiers to present this effort once a month.

Stop by for a coffee and bring a donation to support the Blue Star Moms.
