The Yosemite Community College District has initiated the search process for the next President of Modesto Junior College. The position is currently filled by Dr. Chad Redwing in an interim capacity.

Dr. Henry Yong, the YCCD Chancellor, has worked with the Board of Trustees to establish a search process to fill the vacancy. Chancellor Yong is seeking participation from the community in this search and selection process. The MJC Presidential Search Committee consists of representatives from all college constituent groups, and Chancellor Yong is seeking two community members to assist with the search and selection of the next President of MJC. Dr. Yong is inviting interested community members to submit a brief letter of interest to his office by Monday, Sept. 18, 2023. Letters should be submitted to:
