A crew from Lancaster Painting out of Turlock was in Oakdale earlier this week, some on the ground and some about 85 feet in the air, shown here, working on applying a new coat of paint to the large flagpole along G Street just east of the intersection with Yosemite Avenue. They were trying to finish the project ahead of some rainy weather that moved in on Monday afternoon.
