The Oakdale Women’s Club meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 from noon to 2 p.m., promises to be a ‘Hop-pening good time’ following on the heels of both Easter Sunday and April Fool’s Day. The special event, offered at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, 243 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale, will be held in a tent out in the open and includes a Ladies-Only Easter Egg Hunt, as well as a chance purchase on plastic April Fool’s eggs ($5 each), with the proceeds going to support future Club activities. As for the hunt, participants are encouraged to come dressed in “comfy clothes and tennies” in order to easily search the area for all those elusive little eggs the Easter Bunny left behind.
