Excitement at our Valley Home School! Our Valley Home School and our entire Valley Home community would like to send a HUGE thank you to the Viss Family! The Viss Family donated a beautiful green house to our Valley Home School. Our students will now experience firsthand the joys of learning how to grow their own plants! They will learn about different soils, different seeds, different planting methods, and learn the value of growing their own food. From carrots, tomatoes, peppers, and broccoli, to sunflowers, daisies, violets, and sweet peas ... our students will learn valuable lessons that will last a lifetime. I am hoping that in the near future, our community will be able to purchase everything from seedlings to beautiful full grown plants. Again we send a very special thank you to the Viss Family for making all this possible for our students. Thank You!

This past Friday Oakdale High FFA came to Valley Home School. Wow, what a terrific day of hands on learning! The FFA students were extremely knowledgeable and very well mannered. Several of our students commented on how much they learned and how much they enjoyed Ag day. Thank you Oakdale FFA and staff for coming to Valley Home, we appreciate you very much!
