Toy Collection For Fire Victims
toys

Local Realtor Kevin Benziger is trying to fill his ‘Super Kev Trailer’ with toys for the young fire victims in Butte County. For the rest of November up through Dec. 21, the effort is aimed at collecting new, unwrapped toys to be delivered to the kids of Paradise. Those wishing to help can bring any new, unwrapped toy to Academy Mortgage at 102 Grove Ave., Oakdale or call Benziger for more information, 209-848-3673.

“It seems that there are a lot of efforts to provide clothes and essentials for those affected by the recent fire in Paradise. I thought, what about the kids?” Benziger noted. “I think the kids still need to have a Christmas. I thought, I have this 24-foot enclosed trailer, let’s try to fill it up.”

Benziger is also looking for other locations around the community to serve as ‘drop spots’ for the toy collection – contact him if your business can provide a spot for the donations. He also has a Facebook page: Toys for the Kids of Paradise that can be visited for additional information.
