A road closure and detour to facilitate repairs to the railroad crossing on East H Street between South Yosemite Avenue and South Sierra Avenue is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 19.

City of Oakdale officials said during construction, the location will be closed to thru traffic, as crews work to repair the railroad crossing on East H. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes or, if you must use this route, allow extra time to reach your destination.

The project was slated to start on Tuesday, Sept. 18 and continue on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

The work is being done on the Union Pacific railroad tracks.
