Ripon Garden Tour Set

The Ripon Garden Club is sponsoring its annual September Stroll featuring eight gardens. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9.

Tickets include a map to all locations and are available at various local nurseries. Hours for the self-guided stroll are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12. No strollers please. For more information, call Deb at 531-4200 or visit the Ripon Garden Club home page.

Every day from Dec. 12 to Dec. 23, a dog can be adopted free of charge, on a first come, first serve basis. The Oakdale Animal Shelter serves the communities of Oakdale, Riverbank and Escalon.
