Residents Reminded To Drive Cautiously
rain driving

More than an inch of rain has been recorded in and around the Oakdale area in this latest spring storm.

Oakdale Police are reminding drivers to be more cautious in the wet weather; leave earlier to arrive at your destination, slow down and watch out for deep puddles and flooded areas of roadways around the region.

Sandbags are also available at the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire District station at 325 E. G St., Oakdale, for those who are concerned about residential flooding during this current rainstorm.

You can gain access to the sandbags at the east gate on the South Yosemite Avenue side of the fire department parking lot.
