Preschool Story Time and Wiggle Worms continue through November.

Wiggle Worms Story Time has moved to Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy stories, music, dancing, rhythm activities, and fingerplay at this special program perfect for ages 0 to 3 and their caregivers. Preschool Story Time is now every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Join us for books, flannelboard stories, fingerplay, and music, for preschoolers, ages 3-6, and caregivers.

Begin November with us at our “Dia De Los Muertos Celebration.” Children are invited to come to the library to celebrate and remember loved ones by listening to a story, making a craft, and having a sweet snack. Join us on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. All ages welcome.

Enjoy our new monthly edition of Family Story Time. Come for a special Saturday Story Time experience on Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. Books, music, finger plays and more. This is a wonderful opportunity for families who miss out on our regular weekday Story Time to share the full experience together.

Our Wee Move And Play program, featuring unstructured imaginative play for little ones, 5 and under, will be Mondays, Nov. 5 and Nov. 19. Parents can help their children learn social skills and have fun at the same time. Join us at 11 a.m. both days.

Our Computer Classes for Adults will be focused on “Basics” this month, Nov. 6, 13 and 20. These classes begin at 10:30 a.m. Also, if you are an adult interested in learning or improving in Microsoft Word, you will want to join our class on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. Call the Library to sign up for these classes; limited to four people. Please plan ahead for our special “Read To A Dog” event coming on Nov. 6 at 3:30 p.m. This unique program gives children a relaxed non-judgmental atmosphere to practice reading aloud. Drop by the Library and read to a certified therapy dog. No sign-ups are necessary in this program designed for independent readers up to age 12. Books are provided or children can bring their favorite.

We will be hosting our exciting Minute To Win It Event on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. Join us for an hour of competition and fun. Complete the challenge activities in less than a minute and beat the clock. Kids, teens, and families will have a great “time.”

We will have two Lego Days this month. Kids can create their own masterpieces using our fabulous Lego collection and we will display these great works in the Library. The building fun begins at 3 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 8 and 29.
