Karen Warner will be the featured guest speaker at the next meeting of the AAUW, American Association of University Women. Her talk, “Journey to a Career in Public Service” is scheduled for Thursday March 12 at 7 p.m.
Mix together interests in public health, social justice, politics, and business management and what do you get? You get Karen Warner, a woman whose life’s journey has led her to a career in public service spanning diverse organizations and geographies. Warner grew up in Oakdale and holds degrees from Stanford and Harvard Universities. She has held a variety of leadership positions in the nonprofit, business, and government sectors both in the United States and abroad. She currently serves as the District Chief of Staff for Congressman Josh Harder. She will share her journey of passion for service as well as future goals for herself, her family, community and the world.
