‘Lobsteerfest’ Preparations Are In The Works
Lobsteerfest

Coming up, just around the corner is the Oakdale Sunrise Rotary “Lobsteerfest” – scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27. The dinner event will be hosted at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The event supports Oakdale schools and a wide variety of other community programs.

Steak and lobster are on the menu with a number of side dishes and all the fixings. An open bar will be offered as part of the ticket price, while attending can also take part in a live auction, and enjoy music provided by a DJ.

“Sales are doing pretty good, we have about three-quarters of the tickets sold with still a lot more to go,” Rotarian Patrick Mondragon stated. “It is for our kids and our community.”

Tickets are on sale for $125 apiece or you can buy a whole table consisting of eight seats for $960; a $40 discount when you purchase an entire table.

Tickets can be bought by calling or texting Mondragon directly at 209-764-0564.
