Ken and Linda Morris and granddaughter Rhiannon (plus Linda’s two dogs) have returned from a road trip to Yellowstone. Joining them were Ken’s brother Gary, his wife Karryn and granddaughters Brianna and Peighton. The first stop was Cabella’s in Reno; it was also their last stop coming home. They spent the night in Wells, Nev. then drove to Idaho and Yellowstone. The group toured the park and drove through Bear Country where they saw a white elk. It snowed the first day they were there then hit 74 degrees the next day. They saw moose and badgers. One morning Ken and Gary went out and about and saw a wolf pack take down a buffalo. By the afternoon there was nothing left of the buffalo. Rhiannon and the cousins took the Junior Ranger program. Also on the trip the group took in the Cody Museum and the Museum of the Rockies. They all enjoyed the trip.

Deirdre reported a co-worker was riding his bike on Rodden Road and spotted something. Upon getting a closer look it was a newborn filly that had slid under the fence to a drainage ditch that had water in it.
He frantically tried to get cars to stop to help and finally a local resident stopped by and helped, then others helped. The baby and the mare went to the vet. The outcome is not known.

At the MAC meeting Ed Fortuny presented plans to build an agricultural building at the back of his property. It will sit far back of his driveway. The MAC told him what he needed to take to the planning department and then they would give it the stamp of approval.
