The Miller’s Hall is in need of a new front deck! It is time for the community and friends of the community to join together for a special fundraising meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at 9am to brainstorm for creative ideas to raise a whopping $50,000 to preserve the building. The building is home to multiple entities and is an important part of Knights Ferry history. Many of us have enjoyed ice cream on the front porch, sat on the porch to watch the Christmas parade, or maybe even handed out candy to the Knights Ferry students on the porch. Please come and get involved in the preservation of the Miller’s Hall building.

This is especially important to our local community! The Oakdale Fire Protection District meeting is on September 5th at 10am at the Community Club and they will be discussing the possible relocation of staffing and operational service change from Knights Ferry to Valley Home fire station. It is important to be present to learn more about how this possible relocation can affect our community.
