Knights Ferry School is hosting a family science night on October 9th at 6pm. Everyone is invited! This will be a great night for families and friends to participate in fun science activities together. Knights Ferry School is gearing up for their annual Color Run on October 11th on the field. The Odd Fellows social potluck on August 28th was a hit. Attendees brought a dish to share and the group played games and enjoyed each other’s company!

At the Miller’s Hall fundraising meeting, the group discussed fundraising ideas to raise money for the new porch. If you are interested in donating money or heading up a fundraiser to rebuild the local building’s porch, please contact me!

The Oakdale Fire Protection District meeting was very well attended with at least 40 people. There were many locals who were interested in learning more information about the possibility to relocate the staff and services to Valley Home. The information will be shared at the meeting next month in Valley Home before there will be a decision.
