James Peterson had a big weekend at Woodside Jr. rodeo over the Fourth of July weekend, winning the steer wrestling event and taking home a new belt buckle!

The Fourth of July was a hot and toasty one in Knights Ferry. The Community Club hosted a BBQ dinner and I think one of the highlights was the air conditioning! It was a great way to beat the heat and catch up with friends. Then after dark, families and friends gathered on the tennis courts to light a few sparklers and enjoy the fireworks together.

Did you notice the temporary guests near the exit of Knights Ferry School? The goats are back to help clean up the area! The school is busy with big improvements that include demoing the parking lot and building a new building for the Jr. High.

On July 20th, there will be an interactive art exhibition at the Knights Ferry Art Studio and Gallery from 6pm-8pm. Caleb Cole, Sound Bath with Jake Murry, and Randy Mandy & the Frequency Experience resonation will be playing live music at the Summer Art Show.
