Knights Ferry Church hosted Vacation Bible School last week! The program hosted 28 kids and they raised about $300 to be donated to Christian Beret youth camp, a camp for people with special needs. The theme was Breaker Rock Beach and Dorothy McKinsey and crew went all out on the decor including creating a decorative coral reef and Nancy Redden and crew created the most delicious and unique beach themed food for the kids. Heather Voortman and Taylar Mason helped the kids create sand candles, T-shirts, and a seashell picture frame keepsake! There were a lot of new faces who stepped up as teachers for each class. Heather Wright has led the Vacation Bible School project at the church for many years and she has touched the lives of many children and adults through Vacation Bible School. Thank you to all the volunteers and children who attended Vacation Bible School this year!
