Did you see the giant crane up at Knights Ferry School? They are making great progress building the new Jr. High! The crane was here to aid the installation of the new buildings.

Hanna Martinelli-Holland and Tyler Murphy announced they are expecting a baby in 2025! Hanna is the daughter of Megan and Chris Peterson. Future big sister, Lennex is very excited for the new arrival.

The General Store is hosting The Lane Cole and Lexi Show on March 7th at 7pm. Come down to the General Store to enjoy the singer songwriter duo perform an acoustic western and folk music show! Then on March 8th at 6pm, The Cheatin Hearts will be at the General Store. The Cheatin Hearts feature Scout the Wise, Chris Doud, and Alex Salcido. If my weather app proves true, the weather will be perfect to get out and enjoy the town!

The Civil War reenactments are coming to town on March 22nd and 23rd. The battle times on March 22nd will be 1pm and 4pm and on March 23rd will be 11am and 2pm. Be sure to stop by the Community Club for the spaghetti fundraiser for a fun and social community evening at 5pm! Tickets to attend the spaghetti fundraiser are only $10 a ticket. The Civil War reenactments are free to attend but they do collect donations and if you park in the Army Corp parking lots, they do charge for parking. The Army Corp parking lot fee does not benefit our local area. The American Civil War Association is a group of volunteers from out of town. They purchase their own uniforms, artillery, and camp supplies. They use the donations to purchase the gunpowder for each show! The gunpowder is used in the cannons and guns during the reenactments.
